Most organisations now realise the importance of document control and CIM provides the functionality required for resilience teams to keep track of important plans, policies and procedures.
Whilst traditional emergency/crisis management plans are now delivered by software systems, documents such as evacuation plans may still be held in soft copy.
CIM’s document module allows you to:
- Upload almost any type of file, including Microsoft formats, PDFs, images, audio and video
- Embed a document into your crisis management plan using the plan module
- Set file owners (and co-owners) and the person responsible for revision
- Control version history
- Set expiry/renewal dates on each file
- Use items from the file archive in incident logs, tasks and reports
- Administer access control for specific roles and folders
